Course Arrival/Finishing times
Please arrive promptly, preferably arriving 15 minutes prior to the course commencement time. Courses will commence on time without delay. Course times detailed may be subject to change starting earlier or continuing later than the specified times. This will be communicated and agreed with all participants.
I have advised That’s Better of any allergies, contagious conditions and/or food intolerances.
I have also advised That’s Better Ltd of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to give/receive a treatment during the course. I also agree that That’s Better Ltd takes no responsibility for any damage incurred by another student whilst on/off the premises and to any clients involved in any student case studies.
Places may be reserved for up to 7 days and to secure your place a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. If a deposit is not received within 7 days this may result in your place being cancelled. Full payment is required 30 days prior to the course commencement date unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with That’s Better Ltd. If funds are not received prior to the 30 days then this may result in your ticket being re-issued and your deposit being lost. Tickets once paid are non-refundable/non-transferable. That’s Better course payments will be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the course, unless an agreement in writing has been negotiated with That’s Better.
That’s Better Ltd may agree in some cases that payments of the course can be paid in installments. If paid in installments all course fees will need to be paid in full prior to the course.
Fees not fully paid prior to the course will result in either cancellation or rescheduling of the student. All prices listed are GST inclusive.
All course prices include soft copy of the course manuals, morning and afternoon tea and certification. Hard copy work-books are available on the day for utilisation by the students. Hard copies can be provided at an additional price of $20 per manual. All prices include the use of equipment on the day/s of the course.
That’s Better will be fully reimbursed within 30 days of equipment damaged by any student willful or accidental. Prices do not include the student maintaining any ownership of the equipment used on the courses i.e. Stones, oils, heaters, massage tables etc.
I agree that if I default against the terms & conditions listed that the emergency contact details & my details will be submitted to a 3rd Party for debt collection or solicitor.
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is paid to reserve a student’s place on the course. Full course fees must be paid in full 30 days prior to the course.
- Students wishing to cancel 30 days prior to a course may have the option to re-schedule to another course date without any additional booking fee.
- Less than 30 days notice. Course students may have the option to re-schedule to another course date incurring an paying an additional 30% booking fee.
- Less than 1 day notice or No Show. No refunds on course fees and there would be no option provided to transfer funds to another course date. 50% of the course fee would need to be paid if the student wishes to re-schedule.
All of the above excludes the Lomi Lomi course & Retreats. A 50% deposit is required which is non-refundable and more than 40 days notice must be provided for cancellations. (Students may re-schedule to another course, without incurring a booking fee if more than 40 days, notice is provided)
That’s Better reserves the right to terminate a student without refund for behaviour deemed unacceptable, disruptive or in-appropriate on a That’s Better training course. Please note, under exceptional circumstances there may be some leniency at the discretion of That’s Better.
That’s Better Ltd -Disclaimer. That’s Better accepts no liability or will not take any responsibility from any student or 3rd party being injured as a result of partaking in a That’s Better training course. Please do bear in mind that 0% of accidents have occurred since operating in NZ 2004 to any student as a result of any That’s Better Training course and to no known 3rd party receiving treatment from a That’s Better student.
Therapist Responsibility. I understand as a student of the course that I actively participate in giving and receiving as part of the learning process. If I am unable to do either then I will immediately communicate this to the course director. I agree to respect and honor the space of any student clients I may have to work with as per the code of ethics detailed from the NZMCA. Whilst practicing my skills I will also be mindful and keep talking to a minimum to respect the treatment space. As a therapist I agree that I do not diagnose illness, disease or any other physical or mental disorder; nor prescribe medical treatment of any kind. Because massage/bodywork should not be performed under certain medical conditions, I affirm that I have stated all known medical conditions. I agree to take it upon myself to keep the student practitioner/course director updated on my health and wellbeing and I understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner‘s or That’s Better part should I fail to do so. By booking a ticket with That’s Better or through a 3rd party ticket agent, I agree and accept the information regarding the Privacy Act Provisions and the Refund/Withdrawal policy of That’s Better Ltd as described in these terms and conditions.
