What is a life coach?

A life coach is designed to take you from where you are today to where you want to be. The speed and ease with which you can reach your goals and grow in life can be greatly accelerated when you work with a life coach.

Having a coach can help guide and support you through life’s challenges. It’s somebody to support you to clarify and aid you in becoming the person you really want to be and getting more from life in every sense.

It is the opportunity to speak, in confidence, with someone neutral, non-judgemental and unbiased to gain personal support and guidance

What is the Role of a Life Coach?

  • To help you gain greater clarity & understand yourself better
  • Create a clear path to your goals
  • To help you to prioritize your life
  • To challenge & identify sabotaging behaviours
  • To inspire you and keep you focused
  • To facilitate change by being a sounding board
  • To help you to see different perspectives, possibilities and new choices

Why have a life coach ?

I know you are busy and it’s easy to get pulled in so many different directions when you are trying to juggle everything. It’s hard to get your head thinking straight when you have little time to focus on you. At times, it’s not always easy to see the wood through the trees and deciding where to begin to make changes can be overwhelming at times or too challenging & daunting.

It would be great to have someone who really listens to you, who has your back and supports, motivates, coaches and guides you. Someone who is skilled to really help you to move forward. Someone who brings out the best in you.

If that sounds appealing read on.

A Life Coach is ideal for anyone that falls into one, of the following three categories.

1. I don’t know what I want;

2.  I know what I want, but don’t know how to get it

3.  I know what I want and how to get it, but something keeps holding me back

You can achieve extraordinary results through a process of discovery, goal setting, and meaningful action.

How quickly they become enthused and excited about the new possibilities and choices they have open up to them. I think the reason my clients are so successful about creating the changes in their lives is that I listen, support, motivate and challenge them when required every step of the way to be the best they can be.” Lynda Johnson.

What happens in a life coaching session?

A successful life coach will establish what you want, increase your resourcefulness and help you to figure out how you can get it. Within a coaching session, you will explore and define concrete, realistic steps you need to take in order to have positive action moving forward. We clarify what your internal resources are and what you still need, as well as things that are within or outside your control.

A life coach will then help to maintain your self-confidence and motivation to stay completely focused to create the positive results in your personal and professional life.

People who are attracted to coaching are often already successful in some areas of their life. They want to take their success to a new level, become more self- aware and breathe life into those area’s that are not working as well as they could be.

If you can see such a gap in your own life, and particularly if it’s an uncomfortably large one that has been lingering around for a while, perhaps now is the time to take the first step closing it?

How committed do you want to be, to create the change you want in your life.

Life Coaching Sessions

First Appointment 90 mins; 60 minutes thereafter.

In each meeting, you can choose the topic or area you would like to explore and improve.  As a coach I contribute with observations, questions and/or expertise. I will encourage you to be the very best you can be. This process helps you to gain clarity and understanding about where you are today and where you want to be in the future.

In your coaching session, we will  also work on clearing and releasing any inner conflict, or self-sabotaging behaviours that prevent you from achieving your goals. Expect that you will experience a positive effect in many areas of your life.

With your agreement sessions can also be combined with using the latest mind programming techniques (NLP or Hypnotherapy). These techniques often help in creating a more positive mindset, changing old negative, or un-resourceful behaviours and speed up the changes you want in your life.
